GAMING INFORMATION: The government has revised it law covering casinos and will limit licenses to a total of five casinos with one each likely in Dojran, Gevgelija, and Ohrid, and two in Skopje.The new operators must have assets of DM 5.0 million or US$ 2.7 million and maintain accounts of DM 500,000 or US$ 270,000 to guarantee winnings.Each casino must be located in a fours star hotel and contain at least 20 slots.There are now some 30 casinos operating in Macedonia.The four casinos we present will have to submit a sealed bid and be awarded a license to continue their operations.
