North Dakota has Indian casinos and limited low stake charity casino style gaming. The Indian casinos are regulated under the National Indian Gaming Act of 1988. The low stake gaming is offered by charity, religious, and civic organization in clubs which may offer blackjack, poker, pull tabs and bingo. Charity gaming is regulated by the Attorney General of North Dakota. Most of these clubs are mini-casinos with leased space in hotels, restaurants and bars. Many operate with only one blackjack table; the largest has 10 blackjack tables. The blackjack betting limit is US$5. Most blackjack games are four decks. Although some offer poker, none of the clubs spread a regular game. Most Mini-Casinos are open Monday - Saturday with afternoon and evening hours, and closed on Sundays.
